Project Engineer - Power & Industrial Department/Poole

The person appointed will be responsible for the day to day handling of projects received by the Company from order acknowledgement to project completion.
 
Main Duties
 
  • Review assigned projects for commercial and technical correctness and completeness.
  • Ensure that the engineering design aspects of a project are executed to meet the client’s requirements and specifications, maximising profits and as a minimum, realising budgets.
  • Overall responsibility for co-ordinating and processing project activities including the establishing of a project programme.
  • Represent the Company on all matters relating to the project and be responsible for the overall control of correspondence and documentation.
  • Maintain a good relationship with client.
  • To arrange and deal personally with visits involving customer and/or their representatives.
  • To visit customers to personally discuss project matters and negotiate variations to project, should this be required.
 
The appointed person should be qualified to a HNC level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
 
The successful candidate will preferably have good communication skills and industry related experience with knowledge of application design for burners, fuel preparation and handling, pipework, ducting, fans and related control systems.
 
Willing to travel overseas.
