Industrial/Marine Training Supervisor

Poole

A new position has arisen for an Industrial/Marine Training Supervisor to work in our Training Institute, responsible to the Technical Training Manager. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Industrial Package and marine sectors or a can do attitude to build an extensive knowledge on each subject.

Purpose of job:-
Primarily to write and deliver technical Training programmes for both internal development and externally to satisfy client demand. Such Training courses will be developed to meet the specific requirement of our client base.

Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):-
•Achieve Sales Forecast and budgeted Profit through delivery of programmes
•Create bespoke and generic Training courses using Power point or other tools
•Create comprehensive Training propositions
•Deliver Training programmes to meet the expectations of clients both internal and external
•Travel overseas as necessary to both develop business and deliver programmes when required
•Identify potential clients from proposal and order book databases
•Contact clients with details of courses offered by letter, email, phone or fax

Qualifications/Experience:-
•Minimum HND/ONC in an Engineering discipline
•Good competency with the Microsoft office suite
•Ability to communicate at all organisational levels and across functions and geographies
•Reasonable knowledge of Burner and associated systems
•A teaching qualification would be useful or experience in delivering training programmes

Service Engineer - Package Services South

South of the UK

We have a vacancy within the Package Services Department for a Service Engineer to work in the South of the UK with some travel overseas. The purpose of this role is to install, commission, service, maintain, repair & upgrade Hamworthy Combustion products and their ancillary equipment.

Ideally qualified to ONC/HNC standard in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or have relevant experience of working within a similar role and environment. Previous industrial power plant or steam raising experience would be a distinct advantage, although full product training will be provided.

You will also need to be self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to work alone to a high standard. The role demands a flexible approach to working hours. A current driving license and a full passport are essential requirements of this role.

The ideal candidate will be located within easy reach of the M4 corridor.

Vacancy Location Preferred Qualifications Closing Date

Service Engineer P & P Department

UK and Worldwide

We have a vacancy for a Service Engineer in the Power & Process Service Department to install, commission, service, maintain, repair, upgrade or replace Hamworthy Combustion products or any associated control equipment in the UK and overseas.

Ideally, you should be qualified to ONC/HNC standard in mechanical/electrical/chemical or marine Engineering and have knowledge of PLC control systems. Experience with combustion in boilers, fired heaters, air heaters and incineration and flares, together with knowledge of various burner types and their mode of operation is essential. Additional experience in control and instrumentation would be an advantage.

You must be self-motivated with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work alone to a high standard.

A current driving licence and a full passport are essential requirements of this role and you must be prepared to work overseas for extended periods both onshore and offshore.
